Why we do it?
Exposing young children to age appropriate music and movement classes promotes growth in all developmental domains and creates lasting effects that boost school performance later in life.
Formal exposure to rhyming and rhythm promotes linguistic, mathematical and problem solving abilities to name a few.
Engaging in music activities in a group setting also aids the development of social skills, self regulation, self awareness concepts, physical literacy and more.
Staying active with movement and dance is a great way to keep your family fit and creates a physical and emotional outlet that sets a foundation for healthy habits in the future.
Classes that involve the whole family strengthen the bond between child, adult and siblings while also providing an inclusive environment that allows opportunity for role modelling, empathy and community involvement.
